Though these games have a M for Mature rating, kids of all ages are seen playing. That is their parents decision, and these kids retain information through this violence seen everywhere anyways, and a video game is not going to change that. If video games are banned, then why not movies such as 300, Saving Private Ryan, Jarhead, and all the other war movies?
Kids can learn about real war through these games, because they are dynamic, and realistic as possible. It will give people some real perspective. Sure, there is no reset button in real war, but there is no reset button at all in any aspect of our lives, and everyone understands that. As long as teenagers know and understand this, I do not see a problem with video games.
I have numerous friends that play COD and Halo, and WOW just for fun, in no way are they influenced by these games. It's really all just for fun, it gives them something to do, and provides an adrenaline rush. I really do not think any of the teens playing this game are going to go out at go on a massive massacre. Honestly... think about it. It's really just not going to happen. If there these games were influencing kids negatively, then there would've bee some action taken already.
